PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY
COSMOTE Technical Services (CTS)

COSMOTE  Technical Services considers the protection of your personal data particularly important and adheres to the principle of transparency regarding their processing.

 

1. What is the identity and contact details of the personal data controller?

The Controller of personal data is the company "COSMOTE TECHNICAL SERVICES SA" , with headquarters at 245 Heraklion Avenue and 4 Agios Vassiliou Avenue, PO Box 14231, Nea Ionia Attica, hereinafter referred to as COSMOTE Technical Services or the Company.

 

2. Who can you contact for matters concerning the protection of your personal data?

3. What categories of personal data do we collect and process and for what purpose?

When submitting a request/question via the contact form on the COSMOTE Technical Services website (https://www.c-ts.gr), i.e. name, email.

Data provided by prospective employees to COSMOTE Technical Services when submitting their resume, i.e. identity data, data regarding your professional experience and education, information regarding your family situation, etc. The processing of personal data of candidates employees, who send their CV to hr@ote.gr is carried out in accordance with the conditions stated at https://www.cosmote.gr/cs/otegroup/gr/oroi.html.

For the purchase of goods and products from the Company, we collect and process your personal data, i.e. name, contact details, address, National Identity Card Number (TIN), Tax Registration Number (TIN), VAT number, products you purchased, product value and payment method.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?

Your personal data is kept for as long as this is necessary to serve the purpose for which it was collected or in cases where the retention time is provided by the applicable legislation, for the period provided by the law. Upon expiry of the retention period, your personal data will be deleted in a manner that is technically not recoverable. More specifically,

  • When submitting a request and/or query through the Company's website, your personal data is kept for as long as is necessary to answer your requests/queries.
  • When submitting or sending your CV, your personal data is kept for up to two (2) years.
  • When purchasing goods and products from the Company, your personal data is kept for 11 years from the date of purchase in order to comply with the tax legislation (no. 13 and no. 36 of Law 4174/2013).

 

5. Will COSMOTE Technical Services process your personal data for other purposes?

COSMOTE _ Technical Services will not process your personal data for purposes other than those listed above. In the event that COSMOTE Technical Services wishes to use your personal information for other purposes, it will do so only after informing you about it and obtaining your express consent.

6. Who are the recipients and for what purpose is personal data transferred to them?

Apart from us, your personal data may also be processed by our partners or third parties. However we, COSMOTE Technical Services , we remain solely responsible for the security of your personal data, taking all necessary measures:

  • our partners are always selected based on the high technological and organizational level of security they offer.
  • before we cooperate with any company, especially if our cooperation requires the processing of your personal data, we bind it contractually, in order to ensure the high level of protection of your personal data.

In these cases, these third party companies are processing on behalf of COSMOTE Technical Services , i.e. partners of COSMOTE Technical Services , who undertake the execution of a specific project following our instructions and applying the strict procedures of the OTE Group regarding the processing of your personal data. In these cases COSMOTE Technical Services is still responsible for the processing of your personal data.

The processing of your personal data for the above purposes by our partners takes place mainly within Greece and the European Union (EU). In case we cooperate with companies outside the EU, they will process your data, only after our order and in case there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission or if appropriate clauses are agreed that ensure a high level of security in relation to the processing of your personal data.

COSMOTE Technical Services does not process or disclose your personal data to third parties, with the exception of cases where their disclosure/transmission is required by applicable law.

 

7. What are your rights regarding the processing of your personal data?

The rights you can exercise include:

Right of access : You have the right to receive information about your personal data that we process (e.g. the purposes of processing, the types of data, the recipients to whom they are notified, the period for which they are kept) and to provide you with copies of them.

Right of rectification : You have the right to request a correction of your data (eg correction of address, contact details, identity number).

Right to deleteYou have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in case they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed or in case you revoked the consent on the basis of which we collected and processed them.

Right to restriction of processing : You have the right to request restriction of processing for a specific purpose (e.g. I do not want to receive email updates for marketing purposes).

Right to data portability : You have the right to receive your personal data provided to our company in a structured, commonly used format that is readable (e.g. receiving data that exists in the Cloud ).

Right to object the processing of your personal data in cases where you do not wish the processing of your personal data.

We also inform you that COSMOTE Technical Services has appointed a Data Privacy Officer (DPO) based on the provisions of the applicable law. To contact the Data Protection Officer, you can send an e-mail to customerprivacy@cosmote.gr.

To exercise your rights , you can:

  • send an e- mail to customerprivacy@cosmote.gr or
  • letter to the address COSMOTE Technical Services , 99 Kifisias Street , 15124, Maroussi with the subject "Exercise of personal data rights" stating your full name.

 

To exercise your rights regarding your personal data processed by submitting your resume to COSMOTE Technical Services, you can send your request to the email address: hr@ote.gr

In case you think that we have not sufficiently satisfied your request and the protection of your personal data is affected in any way, you can submit a complaint through a special web portal to the Personal Data Protection Authority (Athens, Kifisias Avenue 1-3, P.O. 115 23 | tel : +30 210 6475600). Detailed instructions for submitting a complaint are provided on the Authority's website .

COSMOTE Technical Services will respond free of charge to your requests without delay within one month of receiving the request. In exceptional cases, this deadline may be extended for two (2) months if this is required due to the complexity of your request. In any case, we will inform you of the said extension and the reason for the delay.

If we consider that your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive we reserve the right to request the payment of a reasonable fee for its satisfaction taking into account the administrative costs for its execution or even to refuse to follow up on your request.

 

8. What kind of measures are in place to protect your personal data?

COSMOTE Technical Services takes appropriate organizational and technical measures for the security of data and their protection against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of unlawful processing.
